Resourceful & Fun Travel (and clever ideas)!

As you can imagine with so many people commuting every day, under so many different work and leisure scenarios (not to mention different physical limitations)….that navigating miles and miles of roadway, steps, moving sidewalks, escalators, elevators, long passage ways, with changing climates and weather conditions can be a challenge to say the least.

It’s the perfect environment for someone’s entrepreneurial mojo to kick-in – all the time. I find myself constantly trying to think of a new product or service that could make someone’s (everyones) life easier in this massive commuting world.

With this said, here are some pictures of individuals who have found a way to make their commuting life a little more fun, easier or creative!

Going retro baby!

Many staircases and long corridors throughout underground system to get you to your connecting lines and exits (sorties).

Staggered wheel cart designed for staircases….Brilliant idea!

Notice 3 individual wheels make up 1 full wheel. The 3 individual wheel are staggered so they can roll or walk down (or up) steps one by one–brilliant idea. You no longer have to carry or uncomfortably try to control the weight of the cart going up or down stairs…this device allows you to maneuver the cart as if it is connecting to each step, like a slinky moves down one step at a time, your cart now moves easily too.

Many folks – young and middle aged – utilize retractable razors or skateboards for moving quickly down the long corridors and platforms.

Or, if you prefer a more modern “motorized” razor…we can accommodate.

Modern Rickshaw anyone…?

Don’t think for a moment that pedestrians are the only ones who need to be more efficient. Here are two of Paris’s finest patrolling the busy and massive rue Rivoli.
