The power of seeing the Blessed Mother so vulnerable and in a state of utter sorrow still impacts me every time I see it. How many times (if ever) have you seen the Blessed Mother in such a fragile state....notice the fallen halo and flowers by her feet - implying nothing else in this world matters to me but this personal lose.
I can't remember an imagine that has provoked such an immediate emotional impact of sorrow/lose of one's heart than this incredible sculptor.
